Kasumi かすみ/霞 character aka "the Kunoichi of Destiny" is a principal character from the Dead or Alive fighting game series by Team Ninja and Tecmo, featuring in every  edition since it's beginings in 1996.  Kasumi is a teenage shinobi skilled in the Tenjin Mon style of Mugen Tenshin ninjutsu. Destined to become the 18th Master of the Mugen Tenshin ninja clan, she ran away in order to enter the Dead or Alive tournament.  Her actions have meant she, along with her younger sister Ayane must live constantly on the run.
Portrayed as a compassionate character who doesn't enjoy fighting, values her family and merely seeks to return home in peace. In all of the tournaments except the first her goal is not to win or even to fight; she simply wishes to meet her brother Hayate.

A character created for Capcom’s Street Fighter series. Born in China on March 1st 1968 Chun-Li (beautiful spring) is the first female fighting character depicted in videogames.  Introduced in Street Fighter II (1991) as an undercover Interpol agent, Chun-Li's style was originally listed as Wushu style Kung Fu, but Capcom later decided to call it Tai Chi instead.
