Portrayed by Scarlett Johansson in the 2012 movie "Avengers" and 2010s's "Iron Man 2", the Black Widow aka Natasha Romanoff is a fictional character first appearing in the comic "Tales of Suspense" No. 52 (1964) published by Marvel Comics. A spy working for S.H.I.E.L.D. the Black Widow is a skilled warrior who, despite having no superpowers herself, proves herself quite capable of holding her own in midst of her superhero companions.
