Lord of Vermilion Game Art

Lord of Vermilion ロード・オブ・ヴァーミリオン Rōdo obu Vāmirion released 2008 is an arcade-based fantasy collectible card strategy game developed by Think Garage and distributed by Square Enix, in which players control combat cards on an arcade play surface.

Cards? I hear you say, well since it's release Lord of Vermilion has contributed over 4 billion¥ in earnings for Square Enix, not bad for a card game.

Lord of Vermilion II, was released in Japan on October 27, 2009, followed by Lord of Vermilion Re:2 on July 26, 2011, continuing its card numbering where LOV II left off.

The sequels prominently featured collaborations with a number of other franchises and game series, including Final Fantasy, Romancing Saga, Magic: The Gathering, King of Fighters, and BlazBlue.

Notable is the commissioning of prominent Japanese and Western artists to produce artwork for the game.  A full list of illustrators and sample artwork is available on the official websites.

Game Character, Introduced in Samurai Shodown VI (2005 arcade, Ps2), a video game series produced by SNK (Shin Nihon Kikaku) a Japanese Software company.

Born in Ōshū Urushiyama, Japan, Iroha is protrayed as a  crane who transforms herself into a Japanese maid.  An obedient and cheerful maiden. She deeply cares for her master, trying her hardest to stay in her human form. Several of her moves hint to her original form as a crane such as her projectile (a razor sharp white feather) and her normal fighting stance. Her weapons of choice are two butterfly swords (Hōrin Ōsai) but relies on her speed for close ranged combat.
